The goal of this piece was to successfully draw a reflective glass or metal object. I wanted something that would have a lot of values, details, and texture so I decided to draw my mother's copper kettle. I created this piece by taking some pictures of the kettle in the desired position and then lightly sketching out the basics on my final piece of paper. I slowly worked on each section to capture as much detail as I could and ended up with this realistic drawing. I am very happy with the way this piece turned out, it pushed me to the extreme with its amount of small details and complicated texture but, ultimately, after a LONG process I was able to complete the piece successfully.
